Okay here's the story...
Our intent is to share some past adventures, some new ones, some humorous stories and maybe a few lies. We may talk about products and builds, but not reviews per say, just our thoughts. Feel free to comment and suggest, however, we will not engage in sparring nor debate.
I would like to thank Jason Hunt of Campcraft Outdoors for encouraging me to start this blog as well as my lovely wife the “Fire Goddess” who is the story editor and keeps me on track in so many ways.
Hopefully you’ll enjoy our random musings and as always on behalf of myself and the "Fire Goddess" Make Life an Adventure!
Full Moon Campers
During the 80’s a group of friends came together for the express purpose of exploring and camping in the mountains and deserts of the southwest. We all agreed that we would commit to camp out once a month and we were fairly successful. It didn’t go unnoticed that our trips coincided with the lunar cycle and that’s how we became known as the “Full Moon Campers”.

Many in the group had young families and we used these adventures to pass along wilderness skills to the eager youngsters. Many of these young people now have their own children hence another generation of “Full Moon Campers”.

Although most of us live in different states now we still get together often and it’s not on common that it is during a full moon.
Another Full Moon Campers Adventure:
We knew exactly where we were, not lost, just not where we wanted to be.
